Siemens CoE is a dedicated skill development centre of Automation, Manufacturing & PLM in the areas of automobile, Oil & Gas, aerospace, heavy engineering, defence production etc. This centre will provide advance skill training for the students, industry, faculty etc. for improving their skills in Industry 4.0 & in high-end engineering software and hardware technologies.

The model of collaboration at SDI with Siemens, functions as a combined effort to enable students to get skilled on Siemens Advanced Technology. The CoE offers the best of the technology being developed at Siemens R&D which is aligned with the industry 4.0 standards. Taking the responsibility of delivery in own hands, Siemens ensures that quality of skill delivered is not compromised.

Siemens CoE of SDIB has seven no’s of sophisticated labs in design & validation, test & optimization, NX, Teamcentre, process instrumentation, CNC controller, CNC machine, Robotics etc. An exposure on skill training in Siemens CoE and certification will help the students to find the suitable placement opportunity in the manufacturing industry. This CoE will also promote the industry and academia interface which will also help in bridge the gaps between industry needs & upskill through industry-oriented training.
